Effective November 17, you can record your document in person at our Downtown Fort Myers Office located at 2115 Second Street, Fort Myers, 33901. Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m, Monday through Friday.
Search and view Lee County’s Official Records dating back to 1887. Official Records consist of liens, plats, certificates of title, mortgages, lis pendens, marriage licenses, deeds, judgments, death certificates, military discharges, and more.
As the County Recorder, the Clerk’s Recording Office also:
- Assists the public with information on land, subdivision plats, and other recorded instruments
- Issues marriage licenses and performs marriage ceremonies
- Serves as an official passport acceptance agent for the U.S. Department of State
- Offers notary services to customers
