What is eRecording?

eRecording, or electronic recording, is the process of filing and recording documents with the Lee County Clerk's Official Records Services Office online. The secure online process saves time and money for customers by eliminating the need to submit documents by mail, courier service, or a personal visit.

We cannot guarantee documents will be recorded on the same day that we receive them. If you have a time-sensitive document, we recommend recording your document in person at one of our office locations.

Benefits of eRecording:

  • Submit documents 24/7
  • Expedite recording process
  • Increase efficiencies, streamline workflow
  • Eliminate payment errors
  • Improve document security by retaining originals
  • Reduce time gap for recording

Get Started eRecording

Documents for eRecording must be submitted through a third-party vendor. Official Records Services customers should research the vendors and determine which one best fits their needs.

Available vendors are listed below in alphabetical order. The Clerk's office cannot recommend or endorse vendors.

You will need a computer with a scanner and Internet access.

Please contact one of the following higher volume eRecord vendors if you wish to begin sending your recordable documents to Lee County electronically:

Direct Submitters

eRecording and Certified Copies:  If you eRecord with CSC eRecording Solutions, eRecording Partners Network or Simplifile, you may now request a certified copy of your document when it is submitted.

Indirect Submitters

The following eRecording services are directed toward lower-volume customers. These services vary but are typically focused on specific document types, such as Notice of Commencement and lien or claim-related documents. The Lee County Clerk has no direct relationship with these service providers, and customers should research the vendors to determine which one best fits their needs.
