An injunction for protection, also known as a restraining order, of a minor in Florida prohibits a person from contacting a minor. It can be issued to protect minors from domestic violence, dating violence, sexual violence, stalking, or exploitation. If a judge issues a court order, also known as a final judgment, for an injunction/restraining order against an adult respondent, it can be searched using the instructions below.

How to Search Final Judgments for an Injunction for the Protection of a Minor
- Open the Official Records Search page.
- Click on Document and Accept the Disclaimer.
- Select “Injunction for Minor” under the Document Category drop down.
- Select a Date Range or use the default dates. Enter a respondent name, if applicable.
- Check the “I’m not a robot” reCAPTCHA to verify your identity.
- Click Submit.
The search results will be shown below your search criteria. Florida Law requires injunction documents dating back to July 1, 2021 can be searched online, however, the document image is considered confidential and cannot be shown.

Request to Add Information from a Final Judgment for Injunction for Protection of Minor to Public Website
Any affected person may request the Clerk add information of an adult respondent from a final judgment issued prior to July 1, 2021 to the Official Records Search. The request must be in writing and contain the case number. To make a request, contact the Clerk’s office by mail to P.O.
