Viewing Civil Traffic and Parking Ticket Cases
Civil Traffic (case type TR) and Parking Infraction (case type PT) are removed from website when they meet retention requirements. Pursuant to Florida Rule of Judicial Administration 2.430, these case types have a 60-day retention following a one-year audit period. The cases we no longer display are those which are closed, reflect a final action, have met all financial obligations, and the last docket entry met the 14-month (426 day) timeframe.
Once this timeframe has been met, we no longer have the document images in our case management system. However, a copy of the case summary/progress docket can be requested through the Record
Request Tracking System. There is no cost for an electronic copy of the summary/docket.
