To continue best meeting the needs of the growing Southwest Florida community, Lee County Clerk and Comptroller Kevin Karnes is proud to announce a new location in Lehigh Acres.
The new satellite office is slated to open next year and will be located inside the East Lee County Government Complex at 600 Homestead Road South in Lehigh Acres. This additional location will compliment the main downtown Fort Myers location and Cape Coral satellite office.
With more than 6,200 square feet, the Lehigh Acres office will house most of the services offered at the Fort Myers location. That includes courts and official records services, such as traffic tickets, evictions, injunctions for protection, marriage licenses & ceremonies, and more.
The Lehigh Acres office will have a private room for domestic violence victims while they are filing for injunctions. There will be 12 windows to serve community members at the new location and a dedicated wedding room where customers can get married in front of family and friends.
“Opening this new satellite office shows our commitment to serving our community,” Clerk Karnes said. “Lehigh Acres is one of the fastest-growing communities in Southwest Florida, and I couldn’t be more excited to expand our services into that area. This location will not only benefit the residents of Lehigh Acres, but also those in south Lee County who can come up on State Road 82. We are bringing Clerk services closer to home for that entire region.”
Construction inside the future Clerk space at the East Lee County Government Complex has already begun, and the new office is slated to open in early fall of 2026.
