  • A local & national economic market update

Clerk Karnes will also speak about Lee County investments and the state of county finances. Through the Comptroller function of his role, Clerk Karnes is responsible for managing and investing nearly $2 billion of Lee County’s tax dollars annually.

“As Lee County’s Comptroller, I am proud to present this event to the community on the importance of financial wellness,” said Clerk Karnes. “As a taxpayer and resident of Lee County, it is very important that you understand how your tax dollars are being utilized, in addition to managing your own finances. The purpose of the summit is to provide information and education on both topics, and I want to encourage everyone who is able to come out and take part in it.”

Light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited and registration is required. Participants can register at www.leeclerk.org/events.
